Single-tooth fly cutter with a profile-ground HSS tip on a 27 mm bore arbor. The economical way to cut a one-off worm, custom involute, or non-standard tooth form when a full hob or shaper cutter would be overkill.

How to Use

• Mount on a horizontal mill arbor.
• Run at the same SFM as a single-point lathe tool of the same material.
• Index with a dividing head one tooth at a time. Allow 30-50% slower stock removal than a multi-tooth cutter.
