YG1 Hand Reamer Set — HSS, H7, DIN 206
Six-piece hand reamer set with the traditional square-drive end designed to be turned by a standard tap wrench. Used in toolrooms, jig & fixture work, and field repair when a power feed isn't practical or the workpiece is too delicate for a machine reamer.

- 4 H7, 6 H7, 8 H7, 10 H7, 12 H7, 16 H7
- Long taper lead (~6° over first 1/3 of flute) for easier alignment
- Cylindrical body with square drive at top
- HSS body, ground straight flutes
How to use
Pre-drill the hole 0.1–0.2 mm under finished size. Apply cutting fluid. Engage the reamer in the hole, rotate clockwise only (never reverse), and feed steadily. Even pressure on both wrench arms keeps the reamer aligned. Withdraw with continued clockwise rotation to avoid bell-mouthing the hole entry.
Hand vs machine
A hand reamer has a longer taper lead than a machine (chucking) reamer because it relies on the operator's feel for alignment. For production-rate finishing, switch to the H7 machine reamer set; for one-off or repair work, hand reamers give better tactile feedback and a forgiving setup.
