- Select the grade based on the material being cut — general-purpose grades like AH8015 suit a wide range of steels, while others are optimised for specific conditions.

- Keep spare inserts of your regular codes on hand — indexable inserts are consumable and worn edges are simply rotated or replaced rather than reground.
