YG1 Cobalt M35 Jobber Drill Set — Built for Stainless and Hardened Steel
Premium 8% cobalt high-speed steel (HSS-Co M35) jobber drills, ground to DIN 338 specification with a 135° self-centering split point. The cobalt content lifts red-hardness from ~600°C (plain HSS) to ~700°C, making this set the right choice for stainless, mold steels, and other workhardening alloys where standard HSS bits glaze and burn.

- Steam-tempered finish for chip flow and rust resistance

Materials
Stainless steel (austenitic and martensitic), tool steel up to 38 HRC, alloy steel, cast iron, mold steel, titanium alloys, Inconel and other heat-resistant alloys, hardened carbon steel.
Geometry
118° standard / 135° split-point options. 30° helix flute. Self-centering on flat or inclined surfaces — no centre punch required for most workpieces. Suitable for both hand-feed and CNC drilling at recommended SFM.
