How to Use

Confirm whether your toolholder pocket is cut for VBMT (B-type, 5° clearance) or VCMT (C-type, 7° clearance) before fitting, as the two are not interchangeable in the same holder despite sharing the same 35° V-shape and size codes. Seat the insert square in the pocket, clamp with the holder's top-clamp or lever mechanism, and avoid over-torquing this positive, thin-pointed insert. Because the V-point is narrow and relatively fragile, keep feed rates moderate and avoid heavy interrupted cuts; these inserts are best suited to finishing and profile passes rather than roughing.
