How to Use

Select the shape code (CNMG/DNMG/SNMG/TNMG/VNMG/WNMG) that matches your negative-type toolholder pocket, and the size/suffix code stamped on the packaging. Negative inserts require a negative-rake holder and are typically clamped with a top-clamp or lever/pin system; seat the insert fully in the pocket before tightening. Because the insert has no built-in clearance, expect higher cutting forces than an equivalent positive insert — this makes the negative range better suited to heavier roughing and general-purpose turning than to fine finishing. Rotate through all usable edges/corners on both faces before discarding a worn insert.
