How to Use

Match the size code (inscribed circle / thickness / corner radius) and grade printed on the packaging to your DCMT-pocket toolholder and the material being cut. Seat the insert square in the pocket, clamp using the holder's top-clamp or lever mechanism, and avoid excessive clamp torque on this positive-type insert. The sharp 55° point makes DCMT well suited to profile and copy-turning passes where a fine tip is needed; reduce depth of cut and feed on interrupted or heavier roughing cuts to protect the point. Index to a fresh edge once wear is visible.
