How to Use

Check the size code stamped on the insert packaging (inscribed circle / thickness / corner radius) against your CCMT-pocket toolholder before fitting. Seat the insert square in the holder pocket and clamp with the holder's top-clamp or lever mechanism, taking care not to over-torque the positive-type insert. The 04-radius sizes suit finishing passes and lighter feed rates, while the 08-radius sizes handle slightly heavier stock removal. Rotate to a fresh cutting edge as soon as wear or built-up edge becomes visible, and re-check clamp torque after every index or insert change.
