Do you supply carbide inserts for titanium implant machining?
Yes. We stock positive-rake carbide inserts (CCMT, VCMT, DCMT geometries) suitable for Ti-6Al-4V Grade 5 and Grade 23 (ELI). Titanium requires sharp cutting edges, low cutting forces and effective coolant delivery to prevent work hardening and built-up edge. Contact us with your insert designation and workpiece alloy and we will confirm stock availability and recommend the appropriate grade.
Can you supply Mitutoyo instruments with calibration certificates for ISO 13485?
Yes. We stock Mitutoyo digital calipers, outside micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges and dial test indicators. Calibration certificates traceable to national measurement standards are available on request for ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820 and AS9100D quality management system requirements. Please specify when ordering that calibration documentation is required.
Do you stock tooling for 316L stainless steel surgical instruments?
Yes. 316L austenitic stainless requires positive-rake inserts with AlTiN or PVD coating to manage work hardening. We stock VCMT and DNMG turning inserts in M10/M20 grades and variable-helix AlTiN end mills for surgical instrument bodies, shaft turning and finishing. Contact us with your operation, depth of cut and surface finish requirement for a specific recommendation.
Which Loctite adhesives are suitable for medical device assembly?
For medical device assembly, we stock Loctite 4014 (medical-grade cyanoacrylate, ISO 10993-5 and ISO 10993-10 compliant), Loctite 3494 (UV-cure structural adhesive for optical and electronic assemblies) and Loctite 648 (high-strength retaining compound for metal-to-metal bonding). Contact us with your substrate materials and application environment and we will recommend the appropriate adhesive system with the required technical data sheet.
Are your products ICV-eligible for UAE medical device manufacturers?
Yes. SAN Tools is a UAE-registered company and all tooling and instrument purchases are ICV-eligible under the In-Country Value programme. Medical device manufacturers in Abu Dhabi free zones (ADFZ, Masdar) and Dubai (DHCC, Dubai Science Park) can include SAN Tools purchases in their ICV calculation. We issue AED invoices from our UAE entity.
Can you supply PEEK and polymer routing tools for implant components?
