How to Use

• Drill the Correct Tap Drill Size — use the correct pilot hole diameter for the UNC thread you're cutting
• Start with the Taper Tap — its gradual chamfer starts the thread straight and true
• Progress to Plug, then Bottoming — use the plug tap to continue, and the bottoming tap to thread close to the bottom of blind holes
• Lubricate and Clear Chips — apply cutting oil and back off periodically to break and clear chips
• Keep the Tap Square — check alignment as you start each tap to avoid a crooked or torn thread
