How to Use

• Select the Correct Size — match the die to the UNC thread diameter and TPI you need to cut
• Mount in a Diestock — seat the die in a compatible round diestock holder and secure the set screws
• Lubricate the Workpiece — apply cutting oil to reduce heat and extend die life, especially on steel
• Cut Squarely and Steadily — start the die square to the rod, turning forward with periodic reversals to break chips
• Back Off Regularly — reverse a quarter turn every full turn to clear swarf and avoid thread tear-out
