How to Use

• Rest the Base on the Reference Surface - Place the base flat and square across the opening being measured
• Lower the Rod to the Bottom - Extend the sliding rod down to the bottom of the hole, slot or step
• Read Main Scale Plus Vernier - Add the main scale reading to the aligned vernier line
• Lock to Hold the Reading - Tighten the locking screw to freeze the reading for inspection
